It’s September, which means it’s a great time for Halloween decorations and crafts! I love to create and share Halloween paper crafts, and I’ve made a number of fun designs for you over the years. You won’t find the usual paper plates, craft sticks, and googly eye crafts here, however — we can do so much more with just some basic cardstock and glue! Here are my favorite Halloween paper crafts, beloved by my fellow crafters, to help you decorate your home, fancy up your Halloween party, and entertain kids of all ages! Halloween Countdown Calendar: Witch Hat Treat Boxes!

If you love to countdown to Halloween, this fun paper craft is for you! All you need is some black paper, some Halloween-themed cardstock, and a way to keep it all together like glue. You can cut this on your Cricut or with a craft knife, too! Each little drawer can hide little toys or treats for younger kids. Stuff them with glow sticks, candy corn, or simple kids crafts kits. Fun for everyone!

Paper Haunted Houses: Combine to Create a Unique Haunted Mansion or Village!

These fun paper lanterns need nothing more than a piece of paper and an LED tea light. Mix and match the different houses and glue together to create your own haunted house or spooky town. Make your houses in different sizes for even more variety. This is an easy craft that is a great idea for your mantle or Halloween party table. One of my most simple Halloween crafts.

Smashing Pumpkin Paper Bomb Tutorial

Make your own pumpkin patch with these fun paper toys! This is a fun idea for all the little monsters in your life and all you need is a piece of paper, some glue, and a rubber band. Then smush them and smash them on a table to watch the pumpkin spring to life! This is a fun pumpkin craft!

Halloween Card: Haunted Mansion Shadow Box

This shadow box card is the perfect way to send a little Halloween spirit to a friend or family member. Or make it for yourself and put it in a frame! The Haunted Mansion in this card is inspired by the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland!

What else says Halloween like candles ... but how about some fun paper candles with LED tea lights inside? Imagine hanging these from the ceiling, a la Hogwarts? Easy peasy Halloween decor. Your party guests will be so impressed when they walk in and see this. SO FUN!

3D Halloween Black Cat

This little paper black cat is SO cool and takes nothing more than cardstock and glue to make.

So much fun … I really have so many free Halloween decorations and projects for you to make. This is just a little sampling of my Halloween craft ideas — I have SO many more, and many of my favorite paper craft projects can get into the Halloween spirit with just a change in paper color! For example, you can make my Winter Wreath in black and orange/purple and hang it on your front door for some spooky fun.

Or make my Star Lanterns in black card stock or purple foil poster board and hang them in your living room window!

Another fun idea is to get a nightlight from the Dollar store and put my Funny Faces designs on them for easy Halloween crafts!
