DIY Lollipop Holders 💖 Easy Cricut Valentine Ideas (1)

Make cute DIY lollipop holders for Valentine’s Day with these free lollipop holder SVGs.

These are a quick and easy Cricut Valentine idea to make in time for February 14th!

There are five different designs to choose from, all with a Valentine’s Day theme.

Cricut machine
Light blue Cricut cutting mat
Coloured Card (I use 160-240gsm weight of card)
Collall All Purpose Glue

Here’s how to make your very own Valentine’s Day lollipop holders using a Cricut machine!

Step 1) Download the cutting file(s) & unzip the downloaded folder

Step 2) Upload the SVG file into Design Space

Open up Cricut Design Space and start a new Project.

Click “Upload” and then find your unzipped version of the downloaded files for this project.

Go into the the “SVG files” folder within that and choose your lollipop holder design.

This is how it should look after you have uploaded the file:

Make sure you upload the file which starts svg- in the filename!!

After uploading, the design will show in your “Recently Uploaded Images”.

You need to upload each design individually, but once they are all uploaded you can click on several of them and then press “Add to Canvas” to add them all to your Project at once.

Make sure the size of the designs matches the below:

Butterfly Lollipop Holder: 3.658 inches wide and 7.393 inches tall
Cupcake Lollipop Holder: 3.735 inches wide and 10.333 inches tall
Heart Lollipop Holder: 4.119 inches wide and 7.464 inches tall
Rose Bud Lollipop Holder: 3.973 inches wide and 7.413 inches tall
Rose Flower Lollipop Holder: 3.768 inches wide and 7.256 inches tall

TIP: Make sure the padlock icon above the width/height boxes is CLOSED before you resize. If it appears “open”, click it with your mouse to close it.

Step 3) Cut out the layers

When you’re happy with how the project looking in Design Space, click “Make It” and follow the instructions on-screen to cut out all the layers.

To change the paper size, go into the dropdowns over on the left side of the screen and choose the paper size that you want to use. You need to change it for every single colour.

To save space on your cardstock, you can move things around by clicking and dragging. Make sure when you’re moving things about that nothing overlaps because otherwise, it won’t cut out properly.

Step 4) Stick the lollipop holders together

Use glue to stick the small detail layers to the outside of the main layers.

Fold the lollipop holder along the base rectangle.

Thread in the lollipop and then use glue or double-sided tape to seal the lollipop holder by sticking the two sides together.

The only one that’s different is the rose flower design. For this one, the detail layers of the roses need to be glued on AFTER you have made up the lollipop holder.

For that one, fold and stick the bottom layer first.
