This the perfect gift if your always asking your partner, “What should we do tonight?”

This one is similar to number 6, but this has a system that can use a multitude of ranging date nights,be used anytime and canbe added to all year long.

We colour coded the sticks by cost and notice needed. The red ones are on the more expensive side orneed notice to complete. The beige ones are mid range in terms of notice and cost. The white and natural ones are short notice and mostly free!

This system allows us to choose an option that contains an idea which best suits our fancy at that moment.

  • Acrylic Paint (3 Colours of choice)

  • Sharpie

  • Date Ideas

Instructions:

  1. Paint an even-ish number of sticks 3 different colour and let dry.

  3. Once paint has dried, write each date idea on a stick and pop it into the jar.

Done!

This gift in the picture is one of my favs we exchanged last year. A date for every month, for an entire year. New things to try, dates that go with the seasons, free dates, some pricey ones, but bottom line–all quality time together.

This gift was a favourite for both of us, I think we will have to repeat this one again this year!

7.Love Letters – Per Month or “Open When”

This gift pictured we bought at Chapters but could easily be DIY’d.

  • A memory that will always be with me is…

  • This is an invitation to…

  • You are incredible because…

8. Scavenger Hunt

What’s a better gift than a day of fun together?

Sending your loved one on a wild hunt for a treat, an activity, a present(or for all of the above!) becomes another gift itself.

Fun clues to write up are essential, rhyming is optional.

Get creative! Send them around the house, the neighbourhood, or the city, involve others or keep it just the two of you. This gift is always a win.
