Belt Walking

Hello. I have belt movement. I replaced the two idler pulleys and the accessory pulley. I also replaced the tensioner pulley and brand new OEM belt. I still have belt movement. My next guess is replacing the alternator pulley. What I mean, is my belt walks side to side. Feel free to chime in. Maybe it is time to find a shop. ARG!!! TIA.

Forgot to mention that I put on a new belt and noticed the edges were starting to tear from the movement of the belt. I am starting to guess that my pulleys are not balanced, causing the belt to walk. No noticeable belt movement on the grooved pulleys. I notice belt movement on the tensioner pulley and idler pulleys since I have to readjust the belt before starting the car. I need to make a video and I am NA with bolt-ons. This is weird because when I had my FRS, I had no belt issues or movement. Freakin BRZ.

There's 3 idler pully's, though it sounds like something else is not aligned correctly. Have you tried watching it on startup to see where it's jumping?

When you say you replaced the pulleys were the new ones stock or aftermarket?
Not sure from your wording but did you have movement before changing the pulleys?

The new pulleys were OEM Subaru. The old pulleys showed signs of wear which is why I replaced them and yes I had belt movement before changing the pulleys.

so it's not jumping teeth side-to-side, but is moving? should be able to see it attempting to move one place more than another.
